Star Wars Galaxies Stratics announces a new contest for all you SWG movie makers out there!
Winners will receive an autographed copy of Star Wars Galaxies: Complete Online Adventures. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place movies will also receive a 60 day game card!
The contest starts on April 1st, 2008 and ends on April 30th, 2008. To avoid confusion, entries will be accepted on the 30th.
The categories are:
Comedy - Make us laugh
Example: Gotta admit, Darth Velveeta is pretty funny now.
Musical - music that goes with the movie
Example: Can you beat the Grease movie?
Drama - Serious types of movies involving conflicts and emotion
Example: Hill 354
Action - PvP
Example: Carnage
The rules are as follows:
You must have an active account with Star Wars Galaxies and be registered on the SWG Stratics forums to enter.
A link to your movie needs to be posted in our Contest forum.
Please provide your in game name when submitting your movie, as well as the category you are entering. If you think your movie can go into more than one category, please name them.
Winners will be notified via e-mail and you must provide your full name and address in a reply. That way, we can send you the prize. If you'd rather not post your email address with your entry, please email me at rainstar@stratics.com and let me know which entry is yours.

A. The information requested for these programs is not stored on any SOE servers. These programs are provided by Visa and MasterCard. Only Visa and MasterCard will retain the information you provide for your security.

After five years as our dedicated Guild Wars community manager, Gaile Gray has decided to assume a new role at ArenaNet. Official SOE Podcast #32 is live!!! It?s April fool?s time; did we make you laugh with our little jokes? This podcast features an interview with a member of the Agency team, the EQOA CRM Joel Sasaki and Project Manager Sam Parra. We sing Happy Birthday to the Matrix Online, chat about the latest SOE news, and of course talk about the games we are playing and what we are currently watching on TV and in the movies.
