What is this? It’s a podcast focused on Star Wars Galaxies and all things Star Wars. We talk about how Star Wars and SWG pop up in our daily lives, what we’ve been doing in the game, and discuss the state of the game. We are not associated with LA or SOE in any way. The ribbon banners are posted outside of the Theed Palace and that can only mean one thing, a new episode of SWGwYaMB! One question has been on everybody’s mind lately: Is there going to be another Star Wars MMORPG? We call our pal Brent, host of the VirginWorlds podcast (www.virginworlds.com), to see what he thinks. (On a side note, he was right! Let this episode serve as a testament to his wisdom of the MMORPG world.) We also talk about some exciting things coming to SWG - the in-game browser and voice chat, big changes for munitions traders, and of course the recently announced SWG virtual trading card game, Champions of the Force!

Signups for Saturday’s EQII Tournament will take place at Fan Faire on Thursday, during registration/badge pick-up.

If you are interested in playing in the tournament, and you would like to use your own character, please type /testcopy while you’re logged into the game on the character you wish to compete with, sometime before Thursday.

There will be pre-buffed characters available for use for those competitors who do not /testcopy their character over before Fan Faire begins.

Doing a /testcopy of your character does not guarantee your place in the tournament. Signing up at Fan Faire is on a first come, first served basis and is the only way to get a seat in the tournament. Doing a /testcopy beforehand is simply to make sure your character gets copied over if that is the toon you want to play with and will simplify the process if you do end up competing in the tournament.

Is your guild coming to Fan Faire?

Encourage your Guild mates to pre-register online! Guilds who pre-register groups of 10 or more attendees for the All-Access pass online will receive 50% off the All-Access admission fee. (Offer does not apply to walk-in or day-pass registrants.)

LOS ANGELES (AP) _ After years in development limbo, the “Trek”-themed massively multiplayer online game will engage, warp speed ahead.

The Rares by Adventuring Class series is now complete. Check out the newly-added guides for Fighters and Scouts. (There have also been minor tweaks to Priests and Mages. Nudge Mum in the forums if you see any issues with these, as I did a lot of cutting and pasting to save myself some time.

Are you headed to the SOE Fan Faire next weekend? Mum has put together a few helpful hints that might make the trip, and the Faire, a bit more enjoyable.
