Firefoot: Home of the Block Rockin’ PVP

Seriously, we’ve turned this server from pure deadtime into some real fun. Thanks to returning old faces, people upping their game, and some great organization on both sides.

I don’t know about everyone esle, but for the last full week or so, I’ve been able to find good fights pretty much 24 hours a day. Hell, last night it was nutty at 4am! lmao.

Creeps- You guys are getting scarier and scarier by the minute. The leaders of the free people are being forced to CONSTANTLY change battle plans to keep up.

Freeps- We’re seeing more and more familiar faces out there, and it has a NOTICABLE effect on every raid. When you don’t have to tell the raid "DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF THE TYRANT IF YOU DON"T HAVE HIS AGRO" you know things are starting to look up.

Personally, i think its the fact that the leaders on firefoot HATE a battle staying in any one place for too long, regardless of who’s winning. Small freep forces are willing to take their deaths to fight larger creep hordes, and vice versa. By doing this it allows the side getting whopped upon to gather more numbers, and those are the fights we’ve seen turn into raging bloodbaths.

-special shout out to BodyBag. Good to see you, old foe. The fight last night around TR hotpot / ec was amazing. Its been a good long time since i’ve seen the freeps utterly destroyed like that, ESPECIALLY in our own NPC’s, lol.

New Weekend Raiding/Grouping Kin!

Ancient Technique is now recruiting players who do not have time to play during the week, or prefer to raid/group up on the weekends. We are looking for mature players, level 45-50 to start our kin.

Ancient Technique will be ran with players who can respect others, play maturely, shrug off defeat and laugh at it, and play the game for fun.

Anyone can Join AT, but our Main Raids will be happening during the weekend as that is what this kin is looking at.

Raiding Times would be on either Friday Night, Saturday (Day or Night) and Sunday Afternoon.

As many are I am going crash trying to figure out the reason for the random crashing during the game. There is no rhyme or reason to the crashing. I seems to happen more often when in large groups but happens while soloing too. I have included as much info as I can possible find in hopes that someone can provide some kind of clue.

Things I have tried:

- Complete reinstall of LOTRO
- Different video drivers
- Verifying all drivers are up to date

The Fellowship Departs!

I don’t know if anyone else got the recent email: August Newsletter, Summer Festival ends soon! But on it, there is a part that says, the Fellowship Departs, and it says that if you go to bid them farewell, you’ll recieve a special item. Is this for anyone, or do you have to be far along on the epic quests? I’m asking rather than going there, because I’d rather not go all the way to Rivendell for nothing.

Cracked Earth doesn’t root?

The description says it roots for 30 seconds, or 40 depending on how I interpret it. But it doesn’t work that way for me. It doesn’t root at all most of the time. And when it does the MOB can break out in a few seconds. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to have a certain trait slotted to make CE work? No, my pet is not attacking the MOB.
