Blind Maiden’s Wish is Recruting
Thx, Linaphor
Thus, to keep it interesting for us, they’ve stacked the deck so lower level freeps (say, average lvl 55) can compete with lvl 60 creeps. Once lvl 60 is the norm for freeps, whoops, book time and a buff for creeps. It’s the only possible explanation, otherwise the devs have completely lost their collective mind.
So, why the differences?
Anyone passed it yet? Its probably doable at lvl 50 (chap 12 that is). Just wondering how it went and any advice? I tried in a pug and we got him down to 25k at the starting bit, is there more?. We ran out of power and that mark he puts on you doesn’t help.
My quandry:
I preordered LOTRO MoM Complete Edition and got a Preorder CD and Key.
I then Purchased LOTRO MoM and in it was a MoM full key.
I entered my Preorder Key and everything went fine.
I’m entering my MoM key and now it’s saying “Payment Method” when I’m a lifetime member.
I want to STAY a lifetime member, and I do not want to be charged an extra $199…
So why does “Payment Method” come up when I’m already a lifer and shouldn’t have a payment method?
1. The music playing animations were changed some time ago, and most of us who have discussed this issue agree that they seem to be the Minstrel combat animations. The result is that lute players appear to be rocks stars or depending on gender/race, either have their feet stuck in the ground or stand in a sort of frozen state, with a look of stark fear on the face. We would all like to thank you for the improvements to the flute animation, but ask that you please visit the Music forum to review the posts there on this subject.
2. The human female laugh is umm… horrible.
There are other issues which I am sure can be better described by folks, but these two are really the most annoying for me… well, I still, as a human female, don’t like walking as though I’m trying to hold something between my legs, and every time I kiss my husband in the game, I feel like a 5 year old, but…
Thanks!
In the case of 14.1, I’m sorry but I have to suggest that the difficulty of this instance be looked at. It was already an exceedingly hard quest before the ability to pull the boss into the hallway was removed, just enough to get him out of line of sight. With the new fix that causes him to reset if he even gets on the stairs added, we’ve tried this instance many many times with competent groups that have handled such difficult mobs as Mordirith and Nengon– and still wiped every time.
While I understand quests of this difficulty are necessary to keep the game challenging (for example, I was against the nerfing of "Thieftakers Bane" which was originally a very hard, but doable quest), this isn’t the peak quest of Book 14 and it doesn’t even offer any teal items… Its chapter one of a book necessary to start Book 15, and I highly suggest that some adjustments are made to make the quest less difficult– still challenging, but not a guaranteed wipe and killer repair bill like it is now. It’s a bit too difficult for chapter 1 of an Epic book. If the pulling-him-into-the-hall trick was a sploit, make it possible for other strategies to successfully take him down without it being nearly impossible.
I have not had the oppurtunity to try this instance with a character above 50, but it seems to me that it shouldn’t be a requirement to level above 50 to beat a book that’s part of the Shadows of Angmar epic : ).
On the quest "Burying The Dead" in Archet the bodies that you are supposed to bury are re-spawning at a much slower rate than they used to. Some people I’ve seen on /OOC are thinking the bodies don’t respawn as it takes so long for them to do so.
Not sure if this is working as intended, because I didn’t see mention of this in the patch notes.
In other words, let’s just say I have two level 11 guardian swords; one has no relics slotted at all, the other has relics in all three relic slots. I realize that there is no guarantee (and it’s even unlikely) that I would get back the *same* relics at deconstruction. But I’m wondering whether that latter weapon would at least give back 3 more relics than the former, because it has relics slotted?
Or no?
